As we enter 2025, many are eager for a new beginning. Amid the chaos, there is a longing for answers and tranquility. This serves as a powerful reminder that true peace is found in God. Let’s make 2025 a year of deepening our relationship with Him like never before. This year, as we embark on a collective fasting journey, let’s come together with others to form a community that rejuvenates our hearts and minds. We invite you to participate in this year's Fast. Together, as we seek God, we can conquer any challenge.

Praying for Guidance & Direction

Tuesday January 21, 2025

More than any person, law of the land or structure, God is the most trustworthy being in the universe.
Today's Scripture
  • Proverbs 3:5-6 (NLT)
    • “Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek His will in all you do, and He will show you which path to take.”

Activity
Write Proverbs 3:5-6 on several sheets of paper, dividing the verse out in 6-8 sections. Create a “path” with the papers on the floor. Travel the path, reciting the verse along the way. Mix things up by finding creative ways to travel the path (like jumping, skipping or crawling).

What does it look like to trust in God? What does it mean to seek His will? Trusting in God can be hard, but God is always trustworthy. When we say God is trustworthy, we mean that He is always good, He always loves us, He always hears us, and He always does what He says He’ll do.

We can look in the Bible and read about God’s trustworthiness. We can listen to other people share testimonies and hear that God is trustworthy. The Holy Spirit helps us trust Him more with the promise that He will show us which path to take.
Supplies
  • 9 sheets of paper
  • Pen

Reflection/ Prayer
  • Reflect: We can trust God with our cares and fears, no matter how impossible or silly they may seem.
  • Pray: Take a sheet of paper and draw a vertical line down the center to create two columns. Label the left column “Ways God has provided.” Label the right column “Where I need to trust God.” Prayerfully fill in both columns by writing or drawing pictures.
